બીએમસી આરોગ્ય વિભાગના અધિકારીઓએ નોંધ્યું હતું કે કસ્તુરબા હૉસ્પિટલ લાંબા સમયથી ચેપી રોગોની સારવાર માટે એક વિશિષ્ટ કેન્દ્ર તરીકે સેવા આપી રહી છે. હૉસ્પિટલમાં પહેલાથી જ આઇસોલેશન સુવિધાઓ છે. તેણે કોવિડ-19 રોગચાળા દરમિયાન પણ મુખ્ય ભૂમિકા ભજવી હતી.

ત્વિષા શર્મા મૃત્યુ કેસમાં, સીબીઆઈએ તેના સાસુ ગિરિબાલા સિંહની ભોપાલથી ધરપકડ કરી છે. મધ્યપ્રદેશ હાઈકોર્ટે તેની આગોતરા જામીન અરજી ફગાવી દીધાના એક દિવસ પછી આ ધરપકડ કરવામાં આવી છે.
